About me

I have been working as a graphic designer since 1995. In the first years I have worked in Dinos Pastrikos Studio, then from my own atelier designing and producing books, leaflets, posters, exhibitions, signage and other printed material.

Since 2000 I have been building websites using different platforms (mainly Drupal and Wordpress). From simple one page site up to complex database driven directories and management applications.

Considerable part of my work has been related to 3D or 2D visualization projects. 3D visualization mainly for architectural exterior and interior projects, but also for exhibitions, marketing constructions, museum installations as well as art installations and sculptures. 2D visualization has to do with concepts (illustrations), data (charts, maps, GIS) or educational illustrations.

A big part of the projects I have worked on is related to environmental education, conservation and nature interpretation. I have been involved in nature conservation in Greece and elsewhere for over 30 years, beginning at the first 1985 Dalmatian Pelican wardening project at Amvrakikos, Greece with the Hellenic Ornithological Society.

In the Middle East I have worked in conservation, research and publishing projects around birds, sea turtles, coral reefs and marine biodiversity in Kuwait, Qatar and Oman.

Photography is a part of my work and my life.

Before becoming a graphic designer, I studied a few years in the University of Patras in the School of Chemical Engineering and then theater in Athens.
